Dudley Zoo Invests with Dudley Building Society to Secure Savings
Dudley Building Society is proud to announce that Dudley Zoo and Castle, a treasured local attraction and conservation charity, has chosen to invest in a savings account with the Society. This partnership brings together two organisations that work with and for the local community.
Dudley Zoo, a vital part of the region's heritage and a key site for wildlife conservation, made the decision to explore new savings accounts providers as part of a recent review by their trustee sub-group. Following this review, they identified Dudley Building Society as a good fit for their needs, citing the competitive interest rates and personalised service. A key factor being the ability to discuss their savings account face to face with someone in the branch and find the right savings solutions for them.
Jon Ashfield, Finance Manager at Dudley Zoo and Castle said: “I had identified a couple of options and Dudley Building Society was our preferred choice as it offered a competitive rate and is very local to Dudley Zoo and Castle. As a local charity we also wanted to support a local institution. The tailored experience provided by the Dudley branch further solidified our decision to work with the Society.”
Cara Powell, Area Director at Dudley Building Society, shared her thoughts on the partnership: “We are thrilled to welcome Dudley Zoo and Castle as one of our valued customers. Their decision to invest with us emphasises the strength of our community-oriented approach, and we look forward to supporting their incredible work in conservation and education.”
This investment exemplifies how local organisations can come together to support each other and foster community growth. Dudley Building Society remains committed to empowering local businesses and charities, making investments that benefit both individuals and the wider community.
