Happy 1st Anniversary to our Key Account Managers, Sarah & Cavina!
It’s hard to believe that another year has flown by so quickly, and even harder to believe that January marks the first anniversary of our wonderful Key Account Managers, Cavina Harrison and Sarah Rose!
Both Sarah and Cavina joined our Distribution Team back on 15th January 2024 and what an integral part of the Society they have become. Both have worked passionately with our brokers over the past year, so we thought we’d take a moment to reflect on their highlights from 2024 and celebrate what 2025 has to offer!
What was been your favourite part about working at Dudley Building Society?
The team and people have made to feel welcome since the day I started. They have supported us in being able to spread the Dudley name out to new and old broker contacts – helping them to place cases, helping their clients. – Sarah

Is there a memory from 2024 that stands out for you?
Most certainly it has to be receiving the L&G award for Best Small Lender! It wasn’t something we were expecting but was such an honour to collect on behalf of the entire team at Dudley. – Cavina
I enjoy the quarterly sessions James Patterson has with us to share updates on the business as a whole. Being able to know where the business is and where it is going is important to me. - Sarah
What does DBS mean to you?
A Society that cares about its community and its customers. – Cavina
A safe and secure environment. A friendly and family feel organisation that goes above and beyond, not only for their customers but also employees. - Sarah
Is there a case we have offered that has stayed with you & why?
There are many! We have accepted cases where there have been numerous complexities and where some lenders could help with certain parts of the application, but not others. We have been able to get comfortable with all the differing complexities - delighting both the broker and the client at a time when they believed there was no hope or solution. Cavina
What are you most looking forward to over the next year?
Playing a small part in the growth of the DBS mortgage business, following new technology and even more flexible criteria. – Cavina
In 2025 I’m looking forward to continuing to build the Dudley name in the broker world by working with brokers and DBS management to help shape and improve our offering. I’m also aiming to achieve personal goals and grow as an individual. - Sarah
What does the future of DBS look like?
Brokers are always interested to hear about our criteria and pleasantly surprised to learn about what we can offer. We are making changes and improvements all the time. We listen to feedback and act on it. The future looks very positive. – Cavina
It’s clear that they’ve enjoyed being with the Society this past year as much as we’ve loved having them, evidently as their manager, Robert Oliver, shares;
